SOCCER 

A great way to spend my free time.

     I first got interested in soccer one winter holiday when I was about 8 years old. I was staying with my father in our house watching TV, when the mach started between Boca and River. It was the first think I care.

     

     I found it really interesting. I wanted to play like those men and the colors of the t-shirt were striking. So the first think that I wanted to do was going out and playing soccer all afternoon.

     Furthermore, when I was 13 years old, I went to my first championship with my brother and my friends. It was very exciting and my team won! We enjoyed it, and then we spend hours trying to imitate the best plays.

     I would recommend it as the best hobby because for me soccer is one of the most creative and funny. I can’t imagine my life without soccer because the feelings that cause me, make my body generate different emotions and pleasures, for example, when my favorite team makes a goal, I scream loud and I love it!

Hi Anne,

Thanks for your email. It is very exciting to hear you are coming to Argentina. Personally, I think the best time to come is in the summer because it is too hot and there are a lot of think to do.

If you want to meet young people I suggest visiting Balcarce Street on Saturday evening or going to “July 9 square” and “Alto NOA Shopping”. Also most of them spending time in “Mc Donald” where they eat hamburgers and enjoy the company speaking about school or what will they do at the weekend.

In the summer the weather is usually the same but some days could change and starts to rain. So you should bring some light clothes and also winter clothes.

Thanks also for your invitation to join the group. I would love to do if I am free. I will be flattered and anxious to wait for you!

“Dolphins”

     Dolphins are mammal animals, which live in almost all seas the world. They are found worldwide in temperate and tropical waters, being absent only from 45 degrees of the poles in either hemisphere. In the Pacific Ocean, dolphins are found from northern Japan to Australia and Southern California to Chile. There are also offshore in the tropical Pacific, almost as far as the Hawaiian Islands.

     There are several methods of power, dolphins eat fish and squid and these are the main food. They use very different hunting tactics, for example; often hunt using his speed, but also they look for prey buried in the sand.

     Dolphins have few natural enemies; species of sharks like the bull shark, tiger shark and the great white shark are a potential risk, especially for the young. Environmental pollution of the oceans, seas and rivers is a concern. Pesticides, heavy metals, plastics and other industrial and agricultural pollutants that do not disintegrate rapidly in the environment can cause reduced dolphin populations. On several occasions, especially the tuna purse seine fishery kills dolphins being caught in the nets.

     In these days the International Union for Conservation of Nature is the international body responsible for setting the various states of preservation of species in the world.
